Subscriptions & refunds
Last updated 25 October 2026
Paid ShiftDesk plans are sold by FLOWTC LTD, registered in England and Wales. This page is part of our Terms of Service.
1. Try before you pay
The Free plan includes every feature, with the limits shown on the pricing page. Use it to check that ShiftDesk works well on your computers and network before you upgrade.
2. How subscriptions work
- Pro and Team are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, through Stripe. Checkout shows the total price, currency and any tax before you pay, and you receive a receipt by email.
- Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period at the price in effect, until you cancel. We tell you at least 30 days before a price change applies to you.
- When you switch between plans or billing intervals, Stripe shows the amount due or credited before you confirm.
3. Cancel any time
Sign in to your account and choose Manage billing, or email [email protected]. Cancelling stops the next renewal. You keep your paid plan until the end of the period you have already paid for, then your account moves to the Free plan. Your devices stay linked.
4. Your plan starts at once
A paid plan is a digital service that starts as soon as your payment goes through. Before you pay, you ask us to start it immediately and confirm that you understand you lose the 14-day right to cancel that consumers in the UK and EU otherwise have for services bought online. We keep a record of that confirmation with your account. The Free plan has every feature within its limits, so please use it to make sure ShiftDesk works for you before you upgrade.
5. Refunds
Payments are not refunded, including for partial periods, unused time, renewals you forgot to cancel or a plan you no longer need. We do refund where:
- you were charged in error or twice;
- the service was faulty or not as described and we could not fix it within a reasonable time;
- we materially reduced what your plan includes, or closed your account for reasons that were not your fault — then we refund the unused part of your current period;
- the law gives you a right to a refund.
6. How refunds are paid
Refunds go back to the original payment method through Stripe. They usually reach you within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank. A refunded payment ends the paid plan it paid for.
7. Something wrong with a charge?
Email [email protected] with the email address on your account and the date and amount of the payment. Never send full card numbers or passwords. Contacting us first is usually faster than disputing the charge with your bank, but your rights to do so are not affected.
8. Your statutory rights
Nothing on this page limits the rights you have under the consumer laws of the country where you live.
