Open ShiftDesk
You get an address like 858 350 138 and a one-time password.
GPU capture, hardware encoding and a direct link between your two computers. Office PC, home laptop, a customer’s machine — shift into any of them with almost no lag.
Connecting to the network… No install needed to connect from this browser.
No port forwarding, no VPN, no account needed to try it.
You get an address like 858 350 138 and a one-time password.
The other side types it in the app or on this page. You approve — or give them the password.
Screen, mouse, keyboard, sound, files and clipboard — over a direct, encrypted link.
Built for speed first, then packed with what support teams and power users need.
Desktop Duplication and ScreenCaptureKit capture, NVENC / AMF / QSV / VideoToolbox encode. No frame ever waits in a queue.
120 FPS gear, pointer lock and raw mouse movement. Fast enough to play when the network allows it.
DTLS between the two computers, bound to your password with CPace. Our server never sees your screen.
Copy text, images, files or whole folders on one side and paste on the other, with a live progress bar.
Drag and drop or browse both disks side by side. Every file is verified with BLAKE2b.
A small always-on-top chat window that stays with you while you work on the remote screen.
Two-way Opus voice plus the remote computer’s sound, with packet-loss concealment.
Switch screens in one click. Portrait displays come out upright and numbered the way Windows numbers them.
1:1 mode for the remote layout, or Translate mode for yours — a Turkish Q keyboard on an English Mac just works.
Devices on the same network find each other and connect directly — no internet, no server.
From 720p for mobile data up to native 4K — or set resolution, FPS and bitrate yourself.
Connect from any modern browser — iPhone, Android, Chromebook — with the same encryption.
The whole remote desktop on every plan. No card for Free: try everything before you pay. Cancel paid plans any time.

One small app, no installer wizard. Or connect from this browser right now.
Install once — ShiftDesk keeps itself up to date automatically. Updates are signed, and they are only installed when no session is running.
ShiftDesk captures the screen on the GPU, encodes it in hardware and sends it straight to the other computer. On a LAN we measure 7–25 ms from screen to screen at 60–120 FPS. Over the internet the network adds its own delay, but nothing on our side queues frames.
No. Video, audio, input and files travel peer-to-peer, encrypted end to end. Our server only helps the two computers find each other.
The session ends and you can reconnect right away. Pro and Team remove the limit. If either side of a connection is on a paid plan, the limit does not apply.
On Team and Enterprise, yes. Turn on Settings › Terminal access on the computer once; from then on an assistant connected through ShiftDesk's MCP connector can run PowerShell (Windows) or zsh (macOS) commands there as the signed-in user, never as administrator. It can join in terminal-only mode next to a normal session, so whoever is working on that computer keeps the screen, mouse and keyboard. Every command is listed in the app on that computer, and turning the setting off stops it.
Yes, on paid plans: up to four people can be in the same computer at once, each on their own Pro or Team plan (or on a computer whose own account is paid). A computer on Free takes one person at a time. Separately, Pro connects you to three computers at once and Team to twenty.
Yes. Install it once and it keeps itself up to date: new versions are downloaded in the background, checked against our digital signature, and installed only when no session is running, so an update never cuts you off.
No. An account keeps a list of your devices, lets you reach them in one click from any browser, and lets you upgrade.
Yes. On the same local network, devices find each other and connect directly — useful for offices and labs.
